Bike passed MOT today so all legal again in the eyes of the DVLA. Baffles back out and VFR bars back on. First real blast with the Jacugar suspension and very happy indeed
Bike tracks so much better and smooths over the bumps the OE shock just bounced over. Very confident riding in the wet so just need some dry roads now. Got to be the best £377 i have ever spent on bike parts. Got the mirror extenders fitted now too so can actually see pass my elbows now. Problem with fitting them was due to a very poor fitting and thick double bubble screen. Replaced that with the OE screen and all fits nicely together and didn't notice any difference with wind blast either so all good. Also first run out with a 15 tooth front sprocket. Well all i will say is
. That's got to be the best under £20 mod for a storm. Any gear it just pulls like a train, no more top gear uneven pulling and overtaking is just insane. It feels like the bike is right on the sweet spot of power in every gear now, should have done it a long time ago oh yeah and it wheelies like a good un when you want to pee about from lights and i did a full roll on overtake in second and that lifted the wheel as i passed the car too
So if you want to totally transform your storm for under £400 you will not go wrong with a 15 tooth front sproket and progressive springs, well recomemnded
