Cylinder bore hone

Anyone got a cylinder hone that will fit the (98mm) bore on a Storm?

Looking for a borrow for a day before I fit new rings/pistons.

got your message tony, sorry m8 i don't have one.... last time needed one i used a emery flapwheel in a up & down / twisting motion, as though you're fisting a fat girl's butt or trying to make your mrs squirt.
i'm assuming it's just to take the glaze off the bores & they are not damaged / worn?

I took my top crankcase half down to T11's place in Deal (work quite close so that was simple enough) and Gordon not only made me a coffee but then honed them for me- lovely job!

So that's everything I need done- rebuild starts here.....

Got to run it in anyway, at least 600 pointless miles avoiding the redline and rev limiter..............

why??? imo you want varying revs to bed the rings in proper.... always had better results with a short break-in and then ride a engine hard, especially a race engine...
i'm sure you know what you're doing!

*dont forget let us know what the piston crown to valve clearance is with the JE's and a standard gasket ;)

Yeah. I use "VTaRse" on that forum.....

Still might play with all four exhaust cams as a set and see what I get on the dyno.
Don't think they need degreeing as I've already swapped front and rear by mistake once - must have been the beers during the rebuild, only noticed when I next stripped the head.
