better front brakes??

Post by firestarter1977 »

hi all

after lots of wondering what bike to get next ( the spain tour killed me on the storm :) )

ive decided to put a straight bar conversion on the storm along with some better front brakes as the stock ones just wasnt up to the job in spain !

this will be a christmas project so im just looking around and costing up at the moment, anyone know whats a direct bolt on upgrade? including radial mc?

iirc someone used to sell upgrade units on here but i cant remember who lol

oooh and i have been thinking about altering a tank to get a few extra litres in as fuel stops were a pain :)

Firestarter,
Have a look at this link for the brake options

You might need to sort out the front springs at the same time, as better brakes will overpower the standard setup.
