Re: rectifier caput!
the ones you buy from honda are also probably made in hong kong...
i fitted one off a blackbird (cb1100) and its spot on - look for one with the same plug fitting so you dont have to butcher the wiring.
there's loads that will fit from cb125, cbr400, cbr600. vfr's etc take yer pick,
just bear in mind the delivery time from honk konk if you need the bike on the road...

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Who knows ... the Honda ones aren't much really up to much are they .... As a result of the info pick up off of this site I looked at mine. It was a Honda OEM part of the finned variety ... when I checked it was under performing so I've replaced it with another OEM part. I hope this one lasts.

Got some donated to me by Jonesy at a workshop day in the summer, so you can have one of those if you want for the P+P, unless you want to collect from Sevenoaks, Kent.
Not sure if they're plug'n'play or you need to change the connectors, but even so, not a big job, and I can let you have the pin-outs/wiring diagram.
Crimp connectors will work ok, soldered is better, though.
PM me if you want one.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Darn it, I had to have one replaced last month from Honda. I spent the wrong side of £200. Wish I knew of the cheap alternatives, Was kinda stuck on the road though. RAC man said I was lucky to still have meat and two veg after my Alternator was pumping out 26v into my poor 12v Battery
