footpeg raising ??

Post by freshfunkmeister »

:?: I was at snetterto t'other day and on the sharp corners I kept dragging the footrests, which kind of put me off. I'd love to get some rearsets but at £300 ish, its a bit steep. Does anyone know where I can buy some jack up plates or some simple raisers ? I have seen these on other bikes for around the £50 mark, well inside my budget !! Help appreciated !!
As soon as I read about the dangers of drinking too much, I immediately gave up reading.

I'm in the same boat mate

My first fix has worked a treat, some replacement footpegs from M&P

Have a look at their website http://www.mandp.co.uk
Into bars and rests
Select MFW
Scroll down to the tapered ones £19.99

They increase the ground clearance hugely, mine have only just started to touch down -after the bellypan ground out and just fractionally before the exhaust header!!

Next stage is to bolt them directly to the standard footpeg mount and do away with the flippy-up mounting bit
