RC-51 Parts

Post by penst8grad »

How much will fit from an RC-51? I see many more parts for them on Ebay than VTR parts. Especially exhaust. It's time to make some noise

RC 51 parts

Anyboby know if the brake calipers from the RC51 will fit the Hawk? I have the whole brake setup and am looking to upgrade the Hawk's. I was just going to use the M/C and the SpeiglerS/S lines I purchased. If the calipers can be used I will change them all over.

Well I answered my own question today. The master cylinder went on with no problems. The calipers will not fit only because they are not shaped to clear the mounting tab on the fork leg. I will keep them in case I decide to go with USD forks down the road. The Speigler lines and RC51 M/C make a huge difference. Now I have 2 finger braking and no sponginess.
