The GT's a hoot to ride - those expansions are "Gibsons" - the race unsilenced version of Allspeeds...

Shame it's got a hinge in the frame though

had a gt380 for a while until it decided to disobey the handlebars on a bend
it used to remind me to get off at every corner.
my grifter had better tyres lol
70s jap bikes defied centrifugal force - like riding a gyroscope in a cloud of white smoke.

i liked the sophisticated ram air cooling - a metal plate over the cyl heads!

i had microns on mine - wasn't much choice then tbh - remember when we had to go to a bike shop to buy parts?
was only on about that the other day.. used to be a bike shop on every corner -
in warrington we had bill popes suzuki, steve hartley kawasaki, frodsham yamaha, tommy robb & bill smith honda (where i used to work!) plus a few backstreet shops.
sadly all gone now, just a few little scooter shops left.
deansgate in manchester used to be a great day out with about 20 shops to visit - mike hailwood's duke shop, knot mill, harley shop etc, loads of em, nearly all gone now. :(

what's that other honda in your sig clive? is it a 900f?
had one of them as well lol, same colour , fast as fook in it's day

Both bikes look good, and given that you dont see many orange ones out there, to see 2 riding round together must be very strange...............But I do hope you dont have his & hers matching riding gear, that would be too much :o

I also like the old school 2 strokes, and like Benny, I look fondly on the old days .....when I were a lad etc etc

there is an amount of fun to be had riding an evil handling bike, my take on this is that fun occurs when you reach the limits of the bike / car, and the better the tyres, frame, grip the faster you have to go to get there, its not any more fun, its just fatser and more likley to lead to being Banned.

Nah - just a high speed camera - Orange ones are always the fastest - and 2 orange ones are twice as quick!

:shifty:

Good god, no! Heaven forbid (and I wouldn't let her have a cool as fook matching Orange Roof like mine! )

Yeah, the GT is great for nostalgia - but it's a rubbish ride, lol, no brakes in the wet etc....

The noise is the best though:
