Scorching weather...
Relatively speaking anyhoo. The pipes were callin and I went out for my first spin in two weeks and although the tarmac isn't that grippy nor conducive to having what once might call fun,it felt soooooo good

me too, temperature got to double figures today so just got back from a blast to southport for an ice cream via as many bendy roads as i could find... 110 miles lolTwinpotter wrote: I went out for my first spin in two weeks

had to stop a few times to warm my gloves on the engine (on the kwak as storm is in bits)
had some ace controlled (ish) slides and one uncontrolled wheelie from the lights!
was good to get out - only 4 other bikes there tho & passed a quite a few on the way.
rain forecast for here tomorrow and more icy weather on the way this coming week.

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

I was out with the local triumph Owners group on a Santa run to the school where my wife works.
A bit nippy, but finally got the throttle back to the stop for the first time for several weeks, mostly due to running in.
But the back end spun up as soon as I did, so I'll just have to give it another day or two....
Still quite a bit of snow on the pavements and verges in Kent, but at least the roads are now clear,- apart from salt, grit, people's bumpers.......

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Re: Scorching weather...
Well that ride went so well I decided to spin down with a courier pal down to the Prestige Couriers Christmas party in Fulham to meet some of the auld crowd. It was only 7 degrees so what the blazes. He decides to take point here and there and do some of the '5 to 5 Friday night rush routes' (through the boneshakers of central/south west London littered with mini reps of the grand canyon) and it took us twice as long to get there as it should. I wish I was on a VT5 instead.
My bones got some rare treatment Thai massage style all because "The Courier" couldn't keep up with a filtering VTR
Add to that the ride back up an empty but quite greasy M1 at 3am: it was freeeezin'. Well that's it for another few weeks I suppose. Time to heal.
