them iridium ones dont last long really... you're right, they do feel flat with old ones in.

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

i was in lancaster honda a while ago asking for a plug wrench.... they didnt have one but a fellow customer overheard & said he had a spare at home if i wanted it.
turned out he used to own a firestorm and had a load of surplus bits & bobs including a full set of ebc pads, haynes manual (mousemat) and 4 pairs of brand new iridium plugs.
took the lot off him - and the plug socket, for a brown ticket
annoyingly i'd just paid £14 for a new set of plugs the day before
he'd sold his storm (black 03 model) for £700 after the front cct failed at low miles... got it rebuilt by a honda dealer but for some strange reason after that it would not rev over 7k......
he seemed quite upset when i told him i could've sorted that in 1 hour

You should certainly notice a difference in starting and power after changing to iridiums from standard fat electrode plugs.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

what was the part number of the plugs you have now - and the old ones...
just curious cos i'm sure the correct plug has a resistance built in.
the ones you have now may have a lower resistance and you're getting a fatter spark.
great if you have the right ones, but if they're not the right plug & there is no resistance it could possibly damage the coils or ecm
ive melted pistons before by using too cold a plug.... just be sure theyre correct lol - dont trust the honda dealer, they have been known to get things wrong!

You got me thinking now- I re-used the iridium plugs form my previous engine in the rebuilt hi comp piston one, as they looked clean and were still gapped perfectly.
But I was going to order a replacement pair and see if I could notice any difference, then thought about changing the plug spec to better suit the hi comps.
Opie Oils suggested these:
Denso Iridium Power Spark Plug IX27B
So I've ordered some to see what effect they have.
