Probably a silly question

Post by pinkyfloyd »

As the title suggests. Its probably a silly question but its a simple one to answer. A yes or no is all I need.

I've a completly standard Storm and will be doing it up to my tastes. I will be getting braided hoses at some point and I know I'll need to bleed the clutch and brake lines for that.

I will also be fitting new levers on the clutch and brake so will I need to bleed them too or is it just a case of swapping the lever without draining the resivoirs?
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes, I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

you dont need to bleed the brakes / clutch to fit new levers, but obviously you do when you replaced the lines.
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Thats what I thought. The chances are I'll be getting one at a time, levers then hoses. Just didnt want to have to go through the bleeding process only to discover I had to do it again to fit the levers.
