I Sold the my girl last week, and bought a 2004 gsxr600. I felt it was time to part ways, The things i loved about about the storm I loved alot, and in allot of ways I wish i could have, justifed keeping it along with a 600. But in the end Her niggles, were becoming a real pain. Suspension, My My. Just Got to the point, where i had to make up my mind whether to spend the money on suspension, or slow down. It was going to cost me more to upgrade it, than to buy a new bike.

I'm no racer, but I felt I'd reached ( my limits ) on the storm(but not the storms limits). I really enjoy the track days. And while it felt exillerating to run with the more capable bike, I grew tired of haveing to work so hard. I had run out of dampening, on the front and back, so it was either, live with the wallowing, or spend a boat load to make it more capable. I found that after dialing in the needed preload, the dampening, just couldn't handle it, when the pace really picked up. In the end i decided for the riding I was doing a 600 made more sence.
I've waited 2 years for a new storm, and nothing, I've given in to the thought, there will be no new storm. ANd if there is it wont, be as cabable as an sp2.
So ive givin up a whole lot of soul, and rumble, of a souless little corner carver. Fun as it is, its no Firestorm. Damn you honda for letting this model languish.
Thanks all. You've all been the best... Cheers..
Jeff.
P.S. I uploaded a picture of her, just before I sold
