Tight Spot

Post by Bink »

Anybody know how to get rid of a tight spot in an X-ring chain?

The chain has only been on the bike for 4000mls and has a tight spot in it which causes annouying vibrations on the left hand side of the bike.

Just a thought ...
Would it help if I turn the chain over? As it will bend over the other way it might loosen up the tight spot ... or possibly make it worse ...

Any bright sparks out there who can help?

Otherwise I will have to get the wallet out and buy a new chain & sprocket set. :( (after 4k mls)
