duff advice?

Post by STEVESTORM »

Just fitted 15 tooth front and 45 tooth rear and the 106!! link chain- (endless) recommended by B&C Express who supplied everything. The chain is miles too long even with the wheel fully back - surely a company of their size shouldn't make this sort of error??

Ummmm....won't that top out at less than 100 at that gearing 8O and you'll probably not be able to keep the front wheel on the ground :?

I am a law abiding citizen who never goes over 70 ish..only done it to see what happens- will probably replace front with original after trials...rear was fuc...sorry broken anyway.

Gotta try new things sometimes...shame the missus doesn't agree!

With a 15f/41r combination my old storm topped out at 137 according to the cycle computer. Made all round riding far better and was even better on trackdays. I'll be fitting one on the new storm asap.
