I want to take off the left fairing pannel.
I have had a look but I am not sure!
Do you have to remove the whole fairing and then split it or can you just take off one side?
thanks Paul
removing the fairing?

Take the whole thing off first mate, then split it from there.
Ben
PS Don't know if you need it or not but here's the procedure
Fasteners:
2 x 8mm bolts securing each mirror
4 x allen headed bolts securing fairing (2 per side)
2 x crappy little plastic locating screws on the inside, securing to the bottom of the radiators (access from round the forks)
Disconnect indicator connectors (access under the bars from the top)
Then pull the whole unit towards you (from the front) a bit til you can reach and disconnect the headlight and sidelight
Finally pull the 2 sides apart slightly to clear the fairing mounts on the frame
TOP TIP put the fairing on something soft, eg carpet. I've put mine down on the garage floor a couple of times and no matter how gentle I am its marked the paint on the edge
