It will effectivley make your front wheel 12mm smaller. IE: 120-40%=72mm, 120-30%=84mm. This is how i believe you work out the sidewall height, (the aspect ratio). So theoretically it should help speed up the steering, but i also think it makes the sidewall less flexible. Hope this helps. Den

Tried a 165/70 with a 180/55 on a 748 once turn in was pretty impressive but the suspension is a lot stiffer on that bike, 160 might make the front a bit skittish?
Due to cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off!

I'm surprised it turned at all with a tyre almost the same width as the rear :lol: . Sorry mate could'nt help myself, i'm guessing you mean 120/65.
