Hunting season

Post by ktd001 »

Is it hunting season for motorcyclists? First me, then MDJ then Mercury. Not a good couple of weeks.
Is it about time the DfT produced an ad that actually warns car drivers not to be complete twats (without putting the responsibility on us first)?
Think I'd rather be a dear. There's less people with guns than cars and at least it's harder to aim a gun!

Thought that was your mother, or mine, at least, anyway
Slow in, slow out. Ohh err missus, now with added G-Force carbon fibre race cans. Sounds like a Spitfire.

I think your right Ktd!!!!

Dressing yourself in a dear costume standing on a hill side overlooking a tranquil loch shouting "come on Tarquin do your worst" stands better odds than riding your bike at the moment.

I cant recall a summer when I have had so many close calls as this one 8O

Take care everyone cos they are ALL idiots out there.

Hmmm, quite like the Loch side idea! :P
Everyone's probably seen the MCN response to the new bike research paper (paranoid about sports bikes or what!) but does anyone know if it addressed the whole 'driver training' issue? As you say, this summer's been incredible for sphincter-tightening episodes by non-observant drivers and it's getting to the stage where I only want to take my bike to Europe and would rather catch a train here! 8O
