what springs spring to mind for a vtr

heya im thinking of getting new springs and some 7.5 oil
thing is what should i go for should i get hagon progressives or something else
and how much oil do i buy 1 litre? 2
and where do you recomend i buy these things from price wise and speedy shipping
i have oil and dust seals behind me i havent got the upper or lower bushes yet can i get away without swopping these?

i have bushes inner and outer i dont even remember buying these i remember thinking about buying these before i went out and got pissed

wemoto have a good selection of springs... progressive, linear & std.
i went for the wirth progressive set and have been very happy with them

1 L of oil should be plenty.
dont just pour it in out of the bottle though.... measure it equally into 2 containers (i used pint glasses wot i pinched from the pub)
if you have the forks removed, to get the airgap bang on, assemble it all apart from the tops.
extend the leg as far as it will go. if you want a 140mm airgap, mark a line on the fork leg 140mm above the dust cover then push the stanchion down gently until the oil is right to the top.

do the same with the other = done. should be bob on.
if the airgap is unequal it will handle terrible, especially when braking / cornering.

dont forget, as you add oil, pump the stanchion up & down a bit to make sure it's got into all the nooks & crannies & expelled any air - makes setting the airgap more accurate.

*mate bought some hagon springs & imo they were a bit rough... not as nicely finished as the wirth.
ftr suspension had a fair deal for springs, oil & delivery for about £100

I just fitted the hyperpro kit and the difference is unbelievable. Just over £100 inc delivery but you get the oil with that. Well worth it.

They supply a booklet with very comprehensive and easy to understand instructions with clear pictures. It's a booklet rather than a leaflet and explains how to do a load of other stuff too. Think it's a standard thing to cover all their suspension products.
