I take it by the photo in the gallery that some one has had a little "get off"???
Hope everyone is OK.

"Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk. That will teach you to keep your mouth shut."
Sorry, started to write this one upwhen I posted piccy, but lost it all, so here goes:
From his wheelie pictures you'd think olivier (bp team) was pretty quick. So how come it took him a week to get a few hundred miles from Laval to Chauvac? Yep the answer is in the picture: http://www.abercon.co.uk/vtr1000/displa ... re=710.jpg
With no outside assistance from anyone, Olivier managed to stick his Storm in a ditch and so it went back to Laval on the back of a truck.
A week later he turns up on our doorstep riding the sorry mess you see in the picture. Oliv reckons it's now a 'cafe racer' - hmmm? He seemed quite unfazed by the damage, as he seems to do this sort of thing on a regular basis
Oh, and giving a little secret away, 'BP Team' is nothing to do with a petrol company. BP is the initial letters of the French words for 'Straw Bale'. Something to do with Olivier's track record....
That's enough embarrassment for one day. If Olivier has any more shameful secrets I'll let him post them

OK OK OK guys!
I won't let you laugh at me like that! Ok I had an accident, but I repaired my bike quickly, with a low cost so it doesn't look as good as before! But I managed to do 3200 km in 10 days just after have repaired it.
"He seemed quite unfazed by the damage, as he seems to do this sort of thing on a regular basis"
Unfazed? No i did like better my bike with fairings, and i would rather never have had any accident with it, and have a VTR as i bought it! But in the case i don't have any serious injury, and my bike is style able to ride (and upride some of you on the rear wheel…
), i won't cry anyway. Just have to work during this winter. I'm not sure i will take it back with new fairings (cost) but i'm looking on every cheep solution. Speed triple version? Street bike version? with Straight barres? How to hide a little the radiators if i don't buy fairings…
So you can say what you want but think you can get off tomorrow in a low speed and broke many parts of your bike in spite you've been carefull.Than you could be happy to quickly get back your bike to drive in spite it wouldn't be very pretty.
i don't have any secret again. BP was the name gived by some friends, but it didn't last very longer (just in the rallyes)
Tattie, the bloke up the road from you, how did he do to hide the radiators. Have anyone there any idee?
Oliv'
Ps : simon, i expect you and fabien have had a good travel back to England. I had a big rain all my travel from chauvac to aix.

Laught guys! but my bike is still on the road, that's what i see...
I don't know what i will do, may be i will let it like that since i'm fed up with spending my money in repairs. And furthemore i begin to like driving without any screen. I will see if a speed tripple version can give a good result for a low cost and how to hide my rads.
I unfit my broken clock and i will try to make an indicator with all the light which are still ok.
At the end i'll do a paint when my choice will be done and all fitted.

The bloke up the road did nothing to cover/hide the rads. Personally as I said I think it looks pretty mean, all that noise and no plastic at the front.
There is a TL1000 in the area minus it's fairing as well. They both seem to attract more spectators when parked up. The only thing that I have noticed is that the TL passes my house at about 100mph instead of his usual 130plus.
Cheers

Common sense ain't all that common!
OK thanks!
i still don't know what i will do. I still don't have found any cheep and pretty idee.
I think about keeping it like that in order not to spend too much money. But i don't like how it looks like, looking at it by the sidea nd especially in regards of a VTR with fairings...
Sometimes some friends tell, you bike looks like nothing now, others tell me, it's not so bad, uggly , it looks correct. so i don't now what i 'll do. and i don't have any good idee to do something else than how it is now.
