For RQ & Pete

Last year I did an Motorcycle ignition course with Hibernian. It was piss easy to pass but very usefull to do. They will knock off 15% of your premium when you pass (and you will).
Have a look at their website to see if you qualify (i.e. no endorsements or penalty points on your license). I did have an accident but I told them that it was not my fault so I was allowed to join.

My premium went down quite a bit.
This year I went to Carol Nash as they gave a cheaper quote. (They even took into account that I did the Advanced Rider course)

keep it in mind next time your insurance is up...

Nice one Bink,
Just renewed mine two days ago. Got it for 975 down from 1200 last year. Only thing is last year I didn't have the full licence, so not a great saving all in all. I'm with AON. Insurance is a joke over here anyway!! Welcome to Ireland, the land of the greedy

Don't I know it, lived in Ireland for 7 yrs now... If I were to insure this bike in the Netherlands it would cost me about €200 for better coverage then fully comp here. (all gear included, legal asistance etc). My dad had his 700cc bike covered for €34 Full Comp!!! And that not a typo :D (75% NCB, 9 month cover)

I have it down to €650 (tpo) now with Carol Nash. That's with 5 yrs NCB, advance course & 31 yrs old!!!

.. I wonder why the original msg has been removed... Doggy dealing?
