The camp site doesn't take bookings. Its first come first served. Once I get an idea of exact numbers nearer the time, I'll call and make sure he isn't full
if it is full i know an ace common near aber, free camping - and we can have a barby lol!!!
2 good pubs just a stroll away

Let’s not have any arguments about how far north is ‘up north’ :whatever I’m based in Leeds which I guess you’d call ‘north’ or ‘northern’ anyway who’s going from the Yorks -Lancs area? My route would be the west on the M62 then down to Wales anyway, so does anyone fancy meeting up for a run down from the Manchester area? If so give me a rough ‘depart’ time and I’ll let you know if I can make it.
It will be my first ‘meet’ so it would be nice to arrive with others rather than just turning up on my tod, plus it’s always more enjoyable to ride in a small group

i'll be heading from warrington, toward oulton park, down the a49 toward hereford way, rather than my usual route through machynlleth, just for a change.

a49 is a cracking road and leads straight onto the a44 then some good winding roads up to the site.
let us know a bit sooner what time you're planning on setting off & we'll tie up on the way

hoping kev will let me drop my gear off at his so i'm not lugging loads of crap on the bike... spoils an otherwise superb ride. :biggrin

well currently I've no plans at all , I only noticed the thread yesterday, so if I've nothing else on (I'll have to check with the other half :whatever )but other than ensuring she's not arranged something and neglected to tell me (wouldn’t be the first time I’d made arrangements only to find the 'her indoors' had made alternative arrangements for me without bothering to tell me) so if I’ve no other plans (that I don’t yet know about) I'd quite fancy a ride out with a bit of camping thrown in, and as for times etc I’m easy. Are you planning on going down Fri night? I know it's early doors to be making cast iron arrangements, lots of things can happen in the mean time, so I accept any times stated would be provisional and subject to change but roughly what are you planning? I probably need 1hr to get to Warrington so if I were to set off 1hr or so before you were planning to leave then we should be able to meet up no problem, is it just you are will there be a group?
