Hello
Decided to remove rear plastics and fix Reg/rec before it cooked and made a nice job of it.Any how at the back of the subframe my bikes got an extra piece that resembles a car tow bar that slides into the square tubing behind the rear light .Any body know what it's for?It's made just like a factory part but does nothing.I cannot see it in any parts book.
Weather's nice ,may have to tax it early.

It causes cracks to the rear cowl around the mountings.Not much holding it on as it is.
