I know of SP owners with the same probs.....
I have a double bubble screen on the Gixxer and its melted the Clocks a little, at the apex where the second bubble rises from the original profile it appears to focus the sunlight to the extent that it melts the clocks . Anyone know of a cure that doesnt involve swapping screens again?
Mike, I know you had a similar problem on your SP1 IIRC?

scratch the inside of the screen up with wet n dry.
it's not noticeable from outside but scatters the light inside, so it doesnt focus on the clocks etc.
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Seriously though, it's a lot better than it was a few weeks ago. In hospital beginning of May, but should be ok for our trip.
