For the money and hassle you're MUCH better off fitting a K&N and getting it setup on a dyno to suit the filter and your cans
I used to get approx 95 miles to red light of doom
Since getting filter (£60-sh) and setup (another £60-ish) I now get 120 normally before RLOD out of my '98reg 16l tank with road legal Remus cans (and another 8bhp to boot
)
So rather than using a bigger tank to get more mileage (costs money), get the fuelling sorted instead to improve the mpg (saves money)
