Government to ban engines without FI !

Just read it this morning, in an effort to reduce emissions, from 2013 any engine with a carb will banned and only fuel injection allowed. Bye Bye Firestorm

If it's not date related then I think it's just new vehicles that should have FI, your storm should be safe.

with that in mind, do they clasify the PGM FI system as fuel injection, I thought it was a bit of a mongrel between carbs with injectors controlled by an ECU.

but to be honest bikes with fuel injection are just as bad as carbs for emissions, doesn't a CRB1000 do about 25 to the gallon and something stupid like 8 on full chat.

Well, I can't see what F1 has to do with the decision, but I suppose if Bernie wants it, there's not much the Government can do.
