Cam Chain Guides

Post by RQ »

Has anyone changed the guides or blades that support the Cam Chain?

Just wondering if they needed doing every x thousand miles or so. The thought came from a progression of thoughts after I replaced the front CCT, and it still ticks a bit. Started thinking that if the guide part of the blade is plastic, does it wear enough to warrant a change. (I'm hoping not, as it looks like a whore of a job!!)
