Sorry to hear about that, mate, hope the bruises heal quick.
Make sure you buy it back from the insurance
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Ouch ... looks painful but at least you will mend. ...Get back on as soon as you can but try not to rush it, a few of my mates have done that and thrown it away agin because the shoulder wasn't quite fixed... All the best and hope you feel better soon.

think yourself lucky....
there was a young rider out with us at weekend on a blade... first proper bike after passing his test on a cg125.
he did ok tbh.
but tonight i heard he's tboned a car today and is badly hurt with broken neck, back and collar bone.
trying to arrange to go see him tomorrow if he's up to it.
hopefully it's not as bad as it sounds but been there meself.... docs wont know the full extent of the damage for a while yet.
fingers crossed for him.
shame cos he's a crackin lad with a young family...

the bike's probably totally wrecked but i'm sure that;s the last thing on his mind atm

That's good news about the forks, frame and engine  Rest of it should be 'relatively' cheap to fix with the help of gaybay. Good to see you're eager to get back out too. Just make sure you're wearing the proper kit from now on, even if it is just a pop to the shops :D

watch the yokes though mate and lock stops on the frame... they are made of dairylea
you will know when you try riding it again and it doesnt want to go round corners proper...
mine were barely visible but a new set made a massive difference.
