Recomend me a chain

Post by balls »

Need a new chain soon and there seems to be no end to the types you can get , so if any of you have had good results with a brand let me know , I will be running a 16 front and 43 rear and I use my bike 6 days a week and in all weathers .
Many thanks Balls

Just bought a DID chain on its own at £45 inc p+p, and a brand new rear sprocket for £20, both EBlag, just need a front sprock now.

they're out there if you look........

Neil, After having a look (which I expect you've already done) it doesn't appear many advertise chain and sprocket kits with optional sprocket sizes which you're after. So may be Tony's suggestion of buying them separately could be the way to go, although I did see one supplier giving sprocket size options with their kits on Ebay.

I just did it because it was cheaper

Funnily enough I'm using standard sizes, with the extra power I now have it pulls standard gearing like a standard bike with two teeth up on the back.
And I think it'll pull to just under the redline in fourth as I go over the line on the drag strip.

But I'm taking some alternative sprockets when I next go, as one year it was necessary to change into fourth bout twenty yards before the line; I either held on to third and did the last ten yards on the rev limiter, or changed into fourth and just got the clutch out as I went over the line.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
