took the plunge and did my first service this weekend and had no problems at all, even felt pleased with myself when I found that the last dealer hadn't put a sealing washer on the sump drain plug.
Anyway, one thing was a bit odd. Took the tank off no problem with the tap shut, however, after a bit of handling, fuel started peeing out of the narrower tank hose that mates to the one that has the plastic insert, i.e not the one that I guess is the breather/overflow. I drained what came out and then it stopped after 500ml or so. Any ideas?
Fuel tank question
Re: Fuel tank question
One of those is a breather from the tank internally, the other is from the filler neck area.
Maybe you sloshed it around a bit.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Re: Fuel tank question
Thanks Tony - it was sloshed a bit and was very full, next time will do when the tank is a lot emptier.
