i just bought a fireblade front end 929/954 off the bay for £180 and i'm hoping to fit it onto my firestorm, is it the right parts for the job????

Unless it's got a brand-new tyre it's worth no more than £175.

Yes they fit. You may have to change the bearings from roller to tappered bearings and also the clipons as previously mentioned as they fit under the top yoke. I have done this a couple of times. Hope this helps you.

things are going from bad to worse, i've just found out my frames got a hairline crack in it, i'm getting that sinking feeling, should i really carry on it's an old bike anyway with 30k+ miles on it and i could be throwing more money at it than its worth............

Right, well, yes, in that case you have cocked up.
Probably cocked up landing a big wheelie.
Just get it welded in situ, if possible.
No biggie until you come to sell it.
