Some little faults on this bike but so easy to put right.,cost me £150:-
Removed all plastics,tank,exhaust,radiators.Mounted reg/rec on a ally plate and heat sink ,standard unit OK but poorly seated to the frame .
Removed head covers and did tensioner 9mm stopper mod,easier to remove carbs to reach front when doing this. Stripped forks and fitted K-Tech 8.5n springs and Silkolene 7wt oil (works very nice).Greased head bearings.Fitted 850lb spring to rear Proflex shock and greased linkages.Fresh coolant.Set up sag ,damping and ride height.The bike is now so good and no special tools are needed ,all can be done in a day.The forks are so much better for the money spent but I'd recommend a pro job if you can afford it.
