Re: leaking forks
Sure, let me know when they're in stock.
Have you got a workshop and necessary tools?
Might as well use the same oil, it won't be dirty yet, and I still have some left over from when they were installed.
I want to know why they're leaking, though, very mysterious.

Re: leaking forks
did you order oem seals?
maybe a previous owner bought cheapos?
or have you been crashing wheelies down hard
check for pitting as well... i'm sure tony will find any problems
when i got my cbx the dust seals had been packed with rag to hide the leaky forks... lazy butt, it took me about 2hrs to fit new ones.
the seller gave me the new seals & had made a tool for fitting them which worked quite well... i think he crapped himself when he thought of stripping the anti-dive mech!

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Re: leaking forks
Not going to charge you, mate.
It's got my personal guarantee on it, also it's you that'll be doing the work this time, now you know how.

Transferred from "what have you done to your "bike" today" thread.
A while back we had a problem with some suppliers giving out the wrong seals. Iirc Stevie (bikerpiker) bought this to our attention as it happened to him. Where did the seals come from
Chris.
**EDIT** I found it, here's what I'm talking about-

Re: leaking forks
Check the chrome on the tubes for wasting ie getting thin .This causes oil to pump past the seals.New seals won't cure this.
Re: leaking forks
