As much as I love my new Firestorm, I cant help thinking it is underpowered. There is nothing specifically wrong with it as it revs to the red line with no coughing or spluttering and pulls quite nicely, but it just not as much as I had expected.
I expected more torque at low revs, and I expected more engine braking. The acceleration from 3-4k revs in 4th, 5th and 6th doesnt feel as strong as I thought it would, it feels less than it did on the R1 and I thought it would have had more 'pull'? The engine braking is less than the R1 was at high revs too, but I have been told it should be more?
So I wonder if anyone is near the Huddersfield area and is willing to test drive my VTR to tell me if it is the same as theirs, or at least normal or not?? If not ill have to get it to a rolling road somewhere and get it dyno'ed or something...

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
