Wheel bearing part Numbers?

Post by AMCQ46 »

I have had a search, and a look in the Haynes manual, but can find the serial numbers for the wheel bearings [ie 6004 2RS C2, [size, seal type, internal clearance grade]].

Anybody got those numbers for the front & rear?

they will be a c2 bearing, not sure what the DDU means but they do have 2 rubber seals so the 2rs is right

the part for the front is 6004 2RS DDU 20x42x12 - 42od x20id x12mm wide

the part for the rear is 6204 2RS DDU 20x47x14 - 47 od x 20 id x 14mm wide

never thought to look there

DDU is a designation for a full contact seal, thought it was the SKF naming, but I should be able to source some through my contacts. thanks

A couple of folk on here have mentioned ceramic bearings. Are they available readily over here and are they better than stock?
