Gave her a wash and took a couple of pics.

Just need to paint the back wheel next.

As the firestorm is in getting some new rubber fitted i thought i would take the "old girls" out over the easter weekend. The BSA is a 1927 250 deluxe. It is a 3 speed (hand change), throttle is either on or off, not much in the suspension department and as for the brakes.........well they sort of work. It is mechanically sound, but i didn't want to restore it, as i think they look better unrestored. Oily rag i think it is called.

The other is a 1946 Douglas T35. It is a 350cc which i have spent the last 6 years restoring. When i got it, it was in a million bits in 5 cardboard boxes. I done 99% of the work myself with the help of some good friends and i'm very proud of it. Probably because it's my 1st attempt of building a vintage bike, so got a bit of a soft spot for it.

might well find myself over that way but it'll probably be like 4pm after mot & tax - assuming it passes that is
finished fitting the trim on mine and fitted some larger honda wings in the right place this time!
got some zx10r heel guards & some nice mesh to fit at the front of the belly then pre - mot checks.... retension headstock bearings, rebleed the brakes & fix the horn button cos it sticks on.
oh and spose i best put my baffles back in just in case.... really dont want a fail otherwise im fkt for a ride over weekend cos i just sorned my kwak
