i saw this today and had a good look at it.... very unusual machine and quite tasty too in a quirky sort of way.
marzochi forks and brembos front & rear.... and a very chunky v2 1000

i thought it may have been a chinese thing as it's a new make to me, but a quick google revealed it is a french machine (had a french flag on the tank) from around 2005 and they are reckoned to be pretty good on the road....

i only saw one other firestorm though - a blue one

Yes is a french bike with their home designed engine, seen a few in the Renault Tecnocentre bike park outside Paris, and always like the look

Friend of mine had a different model. Only had a small tank 14 litre, he went to Morroco on it. Pictured with my bike at Scarborough races, he's not got it now as it was written off
