moriwaki belly pans, who has them?
moriwaki belly pans, who has them?
Hi all, just tried to fit my nice shiney new belly pan from Del and i have a problem with the fitting kit.
the front right bracket doesn't line up, the nut is 15mm to far to the rear as in my photo:

i've checked with Del and looked at the other photo's posted by Pete L
i think, and looking at it the bracket is sloping forwards, mine is straight:

did anyone else have any probs with the kits, Del says he is supplied with them and would like to know if they have changed or if mine is different from any of yours.
thanks in advance for any feedback

That looks like the bracket that fits at the left rear,.. near the stand.
The biggest bracket fitted at the front right on mine. The smallest was the right rear,.. an angle bracket was for the left front to attaching to an original mounting point. The othe,.. was the left rear near the stand..
Mine all fits great,.. but I have a heat shield inside it.. and a large hole cut into the bottom to allw the exhaust heat to get out.

Mmmm,
Don't know about whether it's the right bracket or not.................
However , in the first photo , where it's out , were all the other fixings in place ? I mean were you in the process of FITTING IT , or OFFERING IT UP ?
When I got mine , I had a similar problem ( I rang Del.......advice ..... No, don't try to bend it !............
.ahem )
I solved mine by loosening off the O/S/R , & N/S/F brackets
Fitting the bellypan ( loosely ) to the other two brackets ( ie the ones with 2 bolts ) and then adjusting the position of 1 bolt brackets
Then when you're sorted , remove and Nip 'em all up , re-fit & you're away
Hope that helps
Cheers

If a job's worth doing..........It's worth paying someone to do it properly
Sorted it.
i tried slackening everything back and that still didn't help, the bracket was deffinitely made wrong.
i made up a spacer plate from an old flat spanner that i got with an angle grinder.

thanks for the help, will post some pics once i get my high level link pipes delivered and fitted.(theres a balls up story involved with them as well........
