Right, going to be sorting my brakes out once and for all. They are spongey as arseholes and need re-doing. So been hunting on Ebay and found Goldfren ceramic carbon pads.
Yay or nay?
If nay then what would the wise VTR members recomend?
Brake pads.

Brake pads.
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes, I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

Re: Brake pads.
yes they are very good m8,... i have them in mine.
they grip well and last ages with no metallic sintering so very little disc wear.
they work best when hot and stay warm in use... you will probably find they are not as good as oem in the rain, but under hard repeated braking the grip is very good and does not fade.
they are exactly the same pad material as ebc ceramic carbon pads which are 3 times the price.
i put a link on here somewhere to an article on the difference between oem, ceramic carbon & kevlar pads.... have a search for it

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Re: Brake pads.
Cheers Benny. I've seen a full set, front and rear on Egay so will have to get that ordered.
Already ordered a bleeding valve thingy as I will be doing this operation by my lonesome.
Probably going to be ordering braided hoses too so thats going to be interesting.
Any tips/hints/offers of help welcome.

Re: Brake pads.
I was about to order the tickets myself way back in November. but the Storm came up at a reasonable price so I couldnt really say no. It was a heartbreaking choice because with growing up in Belfast I could never see Floyd on their Pulse tour and Rogers would be the last chance I get to see any of the real shows. I've seen aussie floyd a few times a another tribute band and loved them but its not the same.
