Not sure if anyone has had this same problem, but may be worth mentioning: I recently posted a message about a fuelling problem (ta to RQ and Phil) which was causing my bike to almost cut out when idling, backfire a fair bit, cough and splutter under acceleration and generally be unrideable at anything less than 3,500 revs (and a lot of my riding is in London traffic, so I can't go everywhere at 80!).
I've taken it back to the dealer today who says that the diaphragm in one of the carbs has warped and is causing fuel to backfire through the carb (as opposed to the exhaust). I'm slightly surprised as the bike has done less than 2,500 miles... Anyone had the same problem?
