is there no way of lifting the tank slightly and fitting some very small fans on top of the airbox somehow and forcing air in that way, like i say i dont understand these things.
98% of all Harleys ever sold are still on the road. The other 2% made it home Image

Not to get any usable pressure from them, that needs a turbo or supercharger.

Either will do, but that's Stage Three modding, haven't got past Stage Two yet.....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

what you could do is take the spark plug and jets out of the rear cylinder and run a separate header straight back to the front stack so you have a 500cc 11.5 bar compressor feeding a 500cc single

come to think of it that would be an ace mod on a 3 or 4 cylinder engine.... wonder if it's been done before?
sort of a sacrificial cylinder.... the boost would well make up for the power lost by losing a pot
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Basic Airbox mods

The ST3 has tubes that go from the triangular intakes in the front of the fairing the into the the airbox. It doesn't go through the frame, it goes over the top under tank with the tank having been cut away. The st3 is a hand made Ali tank.

I do have some spare ram air tubes but they are the first thing to break in a fall so not keen on giving them up.

Yeti has made this mod to a standard tank so maybe a good chap to ask.

How the bike is set up without the ram air effect and then running well with at speed is a question that I wouldn't have the slightest idea.
No bike (yet).
