Nice one geo. I have been looking into this for a while now. I missed out on a PE250 a week ago , I fancy running a twin shock enduro so I can enter the classic races. Think I will most likely end up on an XR though, not many green lanes left to be honest so my bike must be capable of lengthy road runs in between the rough stuff.

Thanks mate. Looking to chop in the storm for some kind of crosser. Looking at a Husky 510TE and a WR250F at the moment

I have read that the Husky is very high maintenance. The place I went to ride on the trails (Overland Trail Tours) highly recommend the wr250f for n00bs like me. He had WR400, WR426 and others and the WR250F has been the most reliable. They spend their whole life being hammered by n00bs and seem to hold up well. lol

That sounds like a reliable recommendation to me. Bit pricey for my green laning budget but will keep my eye out

I had a mate who would ride like that when green laning.............wheelie, stoppy, backing it in on the road!!!!!!!! had to bollock him because the public in the UK dont see that as a demonstration of great bike skills, they just see it as another reason to ban motorbikes.

BUT in Spain he would be seen as a hero like this guy
