the run to aber on the 44 is quite good but im the return leg down the 483 & 470 onto the 44 back to rhayader is absolutely breathtaking, especially the last 15-20miles... the view down the valleys as the curves unwind is spectacular and you can see the bends open up ahead of you... really comes alive once you get a move one

to be honest mate they are c**** and they have just had a load of new motors delivered so they need to pay for em somehow lol, by the way two of the new motors they have are plain clothed t5s one in silver 60 plate and one greyish black colour 11plate they aint easy to spot either the aerials have been replaced with fins

I have put it in my sat nav as anti-clockwise North out of rhayader then the A44 to Aber. My sat nav battery is shite though so I'll be bringing along an old fashioned paper map too

im sure you have seen as well though bud, some of the smaller B roads have been loose chipped (last time i was there a few week ago) so be carefull if we stray off a bit.
if we do find any chipped roads i suggest we take a detour before someone has a off or gets stonechipped!!
i noticed a bit further north they have only just put the road markings down so if it is a bit damp be carefull as they will be slippy!

from aber to cardigan to lampeter i know they are ok i did that route yesterday (in the van) but the rest of it bar the a44 i havent been on this year, im sure between us and a few maps and satnavs we can re route round any problems
