I have not posted as still getting over the ride home, thanks to geo for arranging the meet and AMQ for leading etc, thanks to Sue for the food and nice to meet some more off the forum.

Neil, like it has been said we are all here to help you in our little way, that is why we all ride storms we are caring kind of guys. I believe that if I help someone; then when the time comes then someone will help me.

its good that you are on the mend, its a story to tellt he lads and next time you stay in the middle. Joking aside I am glad you had only minor injuries and will be well soon.

was talking to one of the lads at work about the weekend... he asked if we went to rhyader as he goes there a lot trailing.
apparently there's a green laner's mecca there... a monster slope they call 'widow's maker' - its near impossible to get to the top lol....

have a google for tom's farm.... not sure if it's still in business as apparently he got jailed for sumat :/

quote "hi toms is at a place called pant-y-dwr,head for rhayader turn right at the clock, right after the pedestrian lights ,old tudur pub turn right and just keep going straight. track turns dusty toms should be posted on the left!"
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

thats one hell of a place, frowned upon and not mentioned on most forums because of the way he treats animals, but 20 quid play all day and go anywhere and do anything, cracking place

I was telling Geo about that place. used to go there, great crack But as MJONSEY said, was a bit of an RSPCA crisis with dead livestock in most ditches,

I never got up the widow maker on the enduro bike, , but recon I could get up it on the trials bike now, but we did ride down it, and I have to say it is F**king scary riding of the edge of a cliff and hoping you can get it stopped before the ditch at the bottom.

All round that region of wales is enduro / green lane heaven. the Welsh 2 day enduro starts in Rahayader [I cant spell it either!]
and we did ride past the "strata florida" on the short cut back to Devils Bridge, which was a big green lane of legend, but has a traffic restriction order on it most months

On my way for a ride with a hottie with her own bike. Didn't get there. Hit diesel on a wet left hander. Hit wall on outside right of bend luckily it had hedge in front of it. Bounced back into road still on bike and slid to a halt. No broken bones but lots of bruises and can hardly move. Slightly concussed. Had a day in hospital. Few holes in my memory of the day but I guess I got off light. Need fairing bracket, n/s/r indicator and n/s riders footpeg and that should get me on the road again. If anyone's got em let me know cost etc please. Cheers chaps
