rear hanger

I was out giving the bike a good old clean today and noticed slight scraping on the rear swing arm. Further investigation led me to the conclusion that it had been rubbing on the Art can I recently fitted.

I put the bike on the paddock stand and had a look at the rear hanger alignment and it turns out there is a slight bend in the right rear one.
when I bought the bike I knew it had been dropped on the right hand side.

Question, what would be the best way of straightening the rear hanger????????????

in situ?? heat and a vice and a hammer??? any other suggestions would be welcome.

i just used a copper hammer on my side stand if that helps

You will probably find that it's the box section [subframe] that it mounts on is twisted. Unbolt it from the silencer and you might just pull it back inline by hand or an adjustableon the end for more leverage. Hope that works
