Hello,
I've bought a cheap single board computer and want to log rpm and speed from my firestorm track bike. Has anyone out there looked at the signals? I think the speed signal is in the form of a 12v pulse, one per revolution of the gearbox output shaft, but I've no idea regarding rpm.
Thanks in advance,
Mark

Re: data logging
may be better off logging from the wires that connect to the tacho & speedo under the instrument pod then calibrate your logger to make sense of the pulses (or voltages)
you will get pulses going into the icm (bigger module under the seat with 16 pin plug) but will get constant voltages (afaik) at the pod, which should be easier to use.

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
