And I couldn't be happier. Peak is 107.3hp and torque is 68.79 which is only 1 hp more than before the jetting but the power and torque curves are now smooth with significant power gains through the rev range ranging between a couple of hp to over 10hp! And in the on-off-on test where they whack it open, just smoothing the curve out has given a midrange gain of over 16hp! It's like a different bike now. The guy was working on it from half nine this morning to half four this aft trying to fettle it just right (even though his first attempt was pretty good) and because they quoted me £260 originally, they stuck to it. 6 or 8 dyno runs with about an hours work in between plus the cost of the jet kit for £260...fookin bargain I reckon.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience!
Re: Just had dyno work done...
good result, sounds like you got your moneys worth, although the jet jit sounded expensive, I think it worked out in the end

No idea how much the jet kit was supposed to have cost.AMCQ46 wrote:good result, sounds like you got your moneys worth, although the jet jit sounded expensive, I think it worked out in the end

Re: Just had dyno work done...
my fault for scan reading!!!!!!!!! though you said the jet kit was £260...............for that I would want jet propulsion

Good result, money well spent, IMHO
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

You're not wrong. It's like a different bike and has a real sense of urgency off the throttle nowtony.mon wrote:Good result, money well spent, IMHO
