which head bearings

Post by slimreaper »

Sorry if this sounds really dumb........
I have just brought some '98 blade forks etc to put on my 2000 'storm.
Iam going to change the head bearings at the same time cos I might as well.
Will new bearings for a storm fit the steering stem on the blade front end/or blade bearings fit my storm headstock?
Probably dead simple answer but I a, also dead simple!

Cheers. :? :?

VTR ones, get the standard ones (instead of tapered) if you don't want to mess about as the bottom dust seal will not fit the tapered bearings.

as a double check get the dealer to cross reference the part numbers for the bearings when you order them.
