did anyone from here build my motor ?

Post by motostorm »

whoever built my motor from here ,

good job

im not being smart , genuinely had her on an honest dyno today , not the highest output giver but accepted as accurate afaik ,

lads were well impressed as was i , 116bhp , 75lbs torque from 500o revs till 8500 revs

ive just dialed the geometry too , 23 degrees rake 1400mm wheelbase 97 mm trail , 200 kg wet (low fuel) 95kg front 105kg rear

set the sag , game on ,,

the motor is a cracker , as is the fuelling , im sure itll go bang at some stage , and it would be great to get a bit of history on the bike ,

close gears do no harm either :P

Chris.

at last i have the chassis set up to match , i had good suspension with the wilbers race shock and the 1000 rr frontend ,

but done some maths and realized the geometry could be improved ,

while i was at it i refreshed the forks , and had the sag and damping set up ,

im not sure what to compare it to , theres a lot more powerful bikes about ,

i must get a spin on one of them ktm supermotos for comparison ,
