Folks,
New here but have read many reviews on my new toy a 2000 VTR with 13K on the clock, what i wanted to know is what is the standard BHP figure as i have seen many different values from 97 to 113 so could someone tell me? Also what sort of figure would i expect with a dynojet stage 3 and a pair of pipe wrex cans at a guess??
Cheers
Mark
What power output to expect
Re: What power output to expect
depends on where the reading is taken
back wheel power can be any where between 97-102 HP standard
mine had 116 with pipes ported, heads, and setting up on a dyno
forget the dyno jet kit and take it to a good dyno and have them set it up you'll get better results for about the same cost
but storms ain't about BP
there about torque and the way they make power
that's what makes them deceptively quick
just ride the wave
but don't tell everyone or they'll all want it

Re: What power output to expect
'bout approx 100 horsies at the rear wheel bog standard - then 105-110 horsies with dyno time and your mods

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
