rogue wire

Post by slightly despy newby »

Hello chaps....I'm just piecing back together my 1998 F model stormer and I can't seem to find where a sensor lead from the right hand crank case cover locates....the 2 wires are a yellow and a white and it has a white 2 pin connector....any one know what it is (oil?) and where it goes please

Looking at the Haynes manual circuit diagram it shows it as connected to the Ignition Pulse Generator > which in turn leads to the ICU
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Ah ok....thank you very much :) Does it show the Ignition Pulse Generator connector over on the left hand side around the rad area? If so I had that pegged down for the fuel tank gauge sender unit to plug into lol....

Yeah, it runs all the way over between the cylinders and plugs in near the thermostat housing.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
