rogue wire
Hello chaps....I'm just piecing back together my 1998 F model stormer and I can't seem to find where a sensor lead from the right hand crank case cover locates....the 2 wires are a yellow and a white and it has a white 2 pin connector....any one know what it is (oil?) and where it goes please

Re: rogue wire
Looking at the Haynes manual circuit diagram it shows it as connected to the Ignition Pulse Generator > which in turn leads to the ICU
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Ah ok....thank you very much
Does it show the Ignition Pulse Generator connector over on the left hand side around the rad area? If so I had that pegged down for the fuel tank gauge sender unit to plug into lol....

Re: rogue wire
Yeah, it runs all the way over between the cylinders and plugs in near the thermostat housing.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
